Raimondo D'Inzeo : ウィキペディア英語版 | Raimondo D'Inzeo
Major Raimondo D'Inzeo (8 February 1925 – 15 November 2013) was a successful Italian show jumping rider from the late 1940s until the late 1970s. ==Biography== D'Inzeo was Olympic champion and double World Champion. Together with his elder brother Piero D'Inzeo, they were the first athletes to compete in eight consecutive Olympic games, which they did from 1948–1976. Their point of glory was achieved in the Olympic Games in 1960, in Rome, when Raimondo won the gold medal and Piero won the silver medal in the Olympic show jumping final, the Grand Prix. As an officer in the Carabinieri Cavalry Regiment he always wore a uniform when competing in tournaments. Against the irritable and aggressive temperament of Raimondo, Piero was more technical and calculating. D'inzeo died on 15 November 2013.〔(AP via Island Pocket, Italian equestrian champion dies )〕 He was 88.
